CCIIO has released a bulletin on how to verify access to employer-sponsored coverage for the purposes of determining eligibility for advanced premium tax credits (APTCs) through exchanges.

A new brief from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Health Affairs discusses the policy issues around the Essential Health Benefit benchmark flexibility for states and how that flexibility can be used to provide a benefit package that will be both affordable and provide meaningful coverage to uninsured or underinsured Americans.

The paper, by the George Washington University,  examines key implementation issues on Multi-State Plans under the ACA based on interviews with federal and state policy makers and others. 

This Urban Institute report finds that declines in employer sponsored insurance (ESI) have been greater for low-income than high-income families, and greater for small firms than large ones.
