Description

In order to support improvements in both health care delivery and payment systems, individuals and organizations that purchase health care services need a clear business case showing that the proposed change in care will achieve sufficient benefits to justify any change in payment that health care providers may need to support the change in care. Health care providers also need a clear business case showing that they will be able to successfully deliver high-quality care in a financially sustainable way under the new payment system. During this free webinar, Harold D. Miller will describe a 10-step process to develop such a business case and show how to apply the process to specific examples. He will also describe the four major types of data that are needed to inform the business case design process.

This webinar is offered in conjunction with the recent publication of a related issue brief, which can be found on NRHI’s website and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s payment reform webpage.

Why Attend This Event?
This webinar will provide valuable information for those who are working to develop payment structures within an ACO or total cost of care models. It will also outline ways to develop win-win-win solutions for providers, purchasers, and patients to achieve and enjoy the benefits of payment and delivery system reform.
