Minnesota Exchange's New Website

Minnesota Health Insurance Exchange has launched its new website, which includes an introductory video on the benefits of the health insurance exchange and how it will work, a benefits calculator for determining tax credits eligibility, information on analysis and grants, and targeted pages for individuals and families, small businesses, agents and brokers, health plans, and others.

 

Nevada’s Plan Certification, Recertification and Decertification

MHBE Regional Connector Entities Grant Solicitation

The Optional Expansion of Medicaid in Wyoming: Costs, Offsets, and Considerations for Decision-Makers

The Wyoming Department of Health released this report analyzing the costs of full Medicaid expansion, as prescribed by the ACA. It estimates that expanding Medicaid in Wyoming would insure an additional 28,200 individuals and it would save the state $47 million over six years.

 

ACA Medicaid Expansion: Enrollment and Cost Estimates for Kansas Policymakers

This report analyzes the enrollment and costs implications of Medicaid expansion in Kansas. With Kansas’s current Medicaid eligibility threshold being among the lowest in the nation, the Kansas Health Institute estimates Medicaid expansion would result in more than 240,000 individuals enrolling in Medicaid, and the cost to Kansas from 2014-2020 would be close to $519 million.

 

Colorado's All-Payer Claims Database (APCD)

SHARE grantee David Idala, Director of Medicaid Policy Studies at The Hilltop Institute at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, released a final report from his SHARE-funded evaluation of Maryland’s effort to identify and enroll eligible children in Medicaid and CHIP using information from state tax forms.

 

Request for Proposal: IV&V Project for IES and HIX

Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) in order to secure the services of a vendor to provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services associated with two separate implementation projects: the Integrated Eligibility System (IES) and Health Insurance Exchange (HIX).
