Past SCI Grants

In the past, SCI offered states the opportunity to apply for policy planning and demonstration grants. These grants, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, were designed to support states examining coverage expansion strategies and those designing and implementing new programs. In certain circumstances, SCI provided special grants, such as implementation grants to assist in the successful implementation of a new coverage program. Maine received an implementation grant in 2003.
