Michigan MLR Request
Michigan has requested to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that in order to allow for a smooth transition to the new federal requirements, gradually increasing the Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) over a three year period so the MLR for 2011 is 65 percent, followed by 70 percent for 2012, and 75 percent for 2013.
