Kentucky Level One Establishment Grant Narrative
Kentucky applied for the Level One grant June 30, 2011 and was awarded $7,670,803 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on August 12, 2011. Among other activities, the state expects to use the funding to:
- Continue the state's exchange planning efforts;
- Support Information Technology systems;
- Procure IT planning vendor;
- Assistance with drafting a Request for Proposal for procurment of IT upgrades, and/or new systems; and
- Outline business operations for the exchange.
