FL-Two Medicaid Reform Bills

Bookmark and Share

The Florida House approved two Medicaid reform bills that would create three state-wide, managed-care programs. The programs would follow a five-county pilot project begun in 2005 under Governor Jeb Bush. All Medicaid recipients would receive health care services through the managed care program, except populations that receive limited Medicaid services that would remain fee-for-service. The bills were sent to the governor May 6, 2011.
