EWA-New Workforce Principles Proposed for Pilot and Demonstration Programs
The Eldercare Workforce Alliance, a coalition of 28 national organizations, wrote to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Innovation Center to spell out its principles for dealing with the shortage of workers to care for the growing number of elderly Americans. Their principles include a focus on team care, quality metrics and support for family caregivers.
