Oregon has submitted a waiver amendment to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for approval to implement the Coordinated Care Organization (CCOs) program.

Oregon Governor,  John Kitzhaber, signed into law a bill (S.B. 1580)  implementing coordinated care organizations (CCOs) that are intended to oversee the integration of physical, dental, and mental health services for more than 600,000 Medicaid members.

The first three state-specific reports, in a series of ten, from the Urban Institute to track and monitor the implementation process and effects of the ACA. These reports look at the progress underway in Maryland, Oregon, and Rhode Island.
